Google Nexus 4 Battery Life Tests

GSM Arena completed their Google Nexus 4 battery life tests, just in time for Smart Communications launch of the Google Nexus 4. Unfortunately, the results are not too impressive. The phone has a 2000 mAh battery running its quad core 28 nm processor.

Talk time

Galaxy Note II - 16 hours 57 minutes
Google Nexus 4 - 14 hours 17 minutes
HTC One X+ - 13 hours 31 minutes
Galaxy S III (JB) -  10 hours 15 minutes
iPhone 5 - 8 hours 42 minutes

Web browsing

iPhone 5 - 9 hours 56 minutes
Galaxy Note II - 8 hours 48 minutes
HTC One X+ - 7 hours 56 minutes
Galaxy S III (JB) -  6 hours 27 minutes
Google Nexus 4 - 4 hours 34 minutes

Video playback

Galaxy Note II - 11 hours 27 minutes
iPhone 5 - 10 hours 12 minutes
Galaxy S III (JB) -  9 hours 27 minutes
HTC One X+ - 8 hours 11 minutes
Google Nexus 4 - 4 hours 55 minutes

The phone has great talk time, but disappoints the two other tests.

    1. GSMArena, whose battery life tests I use does not have a SXV. The Philippines will be one of the first countries to get this phone.
